Jordan, UK discuss cooperation in education

AMMAN — Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Thursday met British Ambassador in Amman Peter Millett and discussed means to develop academic cooperation between the two countries.
Thneibat noted that the ministry has carried out several pioneering educational projects, citing those implemented in cooperation with the British Council.
Millett underlined his government’s keenness to support the Kingdom’s education system, especially in light of the rising challenges due to the Syrian crisis and the large number of Syrian refugee students in public schools.
