Jordan, US discuss regional, international developments, bolster military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday met US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr. The meeting covered means to bolster military cooperation between the US and Jordanian armies and discussed regional and international developments, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Brown and the guest delegation were given a comprehensive briefing on the latest military advancements, highlighting the scope of development and modernisation across all weapons, missions and equipment within the Jordanian armed forces, which are in line with regional developments on various fronts.
