Jordanian parliamentary delegation meets speaker of Saudi Shura Council

AMMAN — A delegation of the Jordanian parliamentary friendship committee with Gulf Countries and Yemen, headed by MP Mohammed Fayez, in Riyadh on Tuesday met with Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council Abdullah Al Sheikh over means to develop parliamentary cooperation mechanisms between the countries.
Fayez, in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that talks also focused on ongoing coordination on various regional issues, mainly the Palestinian cause. Sheikh voiced Shura Council’s keenness to enhance existing ties between the countries.
The delegates also met with head of the Saudi-Jordanian Friendship Committee at the Shura Council Saleh Al Khliwi over means to develop parliamentary cooperation and sustain coordination on various issues in international events
