AMMAN — The Higher Education Ministry will allow Jordanian students at universities in east Ukraine to move to other accredited universities in the west, due to the current unrest in the region, the minister, Amin Mahmoud, said on Monday.
Students can also move to universities in former Soviet Union countries.
This resolution followed a meeting of the accreditation committee for non-Jordanian higher education institutions where a number of Ukrainian universities were added to the list of approved institutions.
A list of the newly accredited universities is available on the ministry’s website (www.mohe.gov.jo).
