Jordanian women a ‘main partner in progress’, says Princess Aisha

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Aisha Bint Hussein, Social Development Minister and Head of the Ministerial Committee for Women's Empowerment Wafa Bani Mustafa on Saturday attended the International Women's Forum (IWF) Jordan's celebration of the International Women's Day (IWD).
In a speech delivered by Bani Mustafa on her behalf, Princess Aisha said that the event aimed to celebrate International Women's Day and honour several Jordanian women who have realised many achievements in various political, social and economic fields, and who have made and continue to make great contributions to society, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The princess stressed the importance of Jordanian women who are considered a main partner in the progress of the Kingdom and in raising generations that care for the homeland and its development. IWF Jordan Head Rabab Mango said that Jordanian women, with their determination and will, prove themselves in all fields and persevere to reach their goals.
