Jordan's envoy to Int'l Renewable Energy Agency presents credentials

AMMAN — Jordan's Ambassador to the UAE Nayef Zeidan on Thursday presented his credentials to acting director general of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) as Jordan's permanent envoy to the agency.
Zeidan underlined the importance of IRENA as an entity that supports the development of new mechanisms to utilise renewable energy.
Jordan's membership in the Abu Dhabi-headquartered agency will have a huge impact on the national economy in terms of providing sustainable energy alternatives, according to Zeidan.
