Jordan’s position in Coursera’s Global Skills Report declines by 8 places for 2022

AMMAN — The Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) has released a paper titled "Jordan's Position in the Global Skills Report 2022", meant to highlight Jordan's position in the Coursera Global Skills Report 2022.
In terms of automation and digital technologies, the JSF cited the report saying that 85 million jobs may disappear, while another 97 million new ones will take their place. Regarding the performance of Arab countries, the UAE led the Arab countries, ranking 23rd out of 102.
Jordan's skill proficiency declined by eight places, in comparison to 2021, with Jordan ranking 76th out of 102 globally and 6th out of 13 Arab countries in 2022, according to a JSF statement.
Global Skills Report 2022 presents data from more than 100 million people who have used Coursera to learn new skills.
It shows how regional and country-specific skill trends change year-to-year and shares data about how in-demand skills link to high-growth careers, according to the Coursera website.
