AMMAN — Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) on Monday announced that it will provide JD1.5 million to a Royal initiative to establish agricultural projects in the Southern Badia.

The JPMC said the support came following His Majesty King Abdullah's visit to Southern Badia in October and meetings with the region's leading figures, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The amount will cover the expenses of the project’s first phase, with the project aiming to serve families in the Kingdom's Badia regions.
