Judeh briefs US students on region

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Monday discussed Jordanian-US ties and the latest regional developments with a delegation from Georgetown University.
During the meeting, Judeh stressed the two countries’ cooperation and coordination on all issues of mutual concern, highlighting in this regard the outcomes of the His Majesty King Abdullah’s recent meeting with President Barack Obama.
Judeh also stressed the centrality of the Palestinian issue in the region, saying that more radicalism will be the alternative to a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state formula.
He also briefed the visiting students on anti-terrorism efforts as well the latest developments in Syria.
