Judicial Council president meets visiting Palestinian peer

AMMAN — Judicial Council President Hisham Tal, who also chairs the Court of Cassation, on Thursday received the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council President Emad Saad and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan news Agency, Petra, reported.
In the presence of Jordan Judicial Institute Director General Thaer Odwan, Tal said Jordan is offering its capabilities and expertise in the judicial field to benefit Palestinians. The two sides discussed the possibility of signing an agreement in the judicial field. The delegates also visited the Judicial Institute and were briefed on its role. Saad commended the integrity and impartiality of the Jordanian judiciary.
