AMMAN — Jordan Judicial Institute Director General Thaer Odwan on Wednesday presented a report on the institute’s role in responding to the implementation of the Royal Committee for Reforming the Judiciary and Enhancing the Rule of Law, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, headed by Justice Minister Awad Mashagbeh, Odwan said the institute developed an integrated system and a plan to implement the recommendations of the Royal committee, noting that some of them had been completed before the deadline set in the committee’s report.

He said the most significant response was to the recommendation on using modern technology in the field of justice, including conducting remote lectures for judges. He added that his institute asked the Justice Ministry to provide specialised halls for remote learning at the Amman and Irbid courts of appeal.
