KAFD to present array of opportunities through field tours

AMMAN — With the slogan, “The opportunities are many and we are waiting for you”, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development’s (KAFD) field tours across the Kingdom’s governorates introduce youth and other target groups to the opportunities the fund offers. 

Through its five main programmes, each  of which have dozens of sub-projects, KAFD “seeks to increase its beneficiaries”, according to a statement.

The programmes and projects conducted by the fund aim to develop talents and encourage leadership and innovation as well as prepare and train youth for the labour market’s needs and raise community awareness, the statement added.

The five programmes — employability development, entrepreneurship, communication and community awareness, capacity building and the Jordanian Youth Commission — have diverse sub-programmes that target different segments of society.

The team “will be waiting for anyone who has an idea, a passion for creativity and a love for learning”, the statement read, adding that the fund’s goal is to provide such individuals with opportunities to support their talents and aspirations by investing their energy and “channelling it for the greater good for society”.

The dates and locations of these field tours will be announced through the fund’s social media pages.
