KHCF, Bank ABC app to raise awareness of cancer, environmental conservation

AMMAN — The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and the Bank ABC Jordan on Sunday signed an agreement, under which the ABC's mobile app will become the main supporter of the "With the Environment Against Cancer" initiative, with the goal of raising awareness of cancer-preventing and environmentally friendly behaviours. According to a KHCF's statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the agreement was signed by KHCF Director-General Nisreen Qatamesh and ABC’s Head of Retail Banking Group, Taj Khamash. The foundation's goal is to use the app to support environmental conservation, cancer prevention and public health efforts, Qatamesh explained. Khamash added that the KHCF will work to support a cancer-free future and protect the public’s health by promoting eco-friendly habits, noting that the bank’s contribution is in line with its commitment to support national cancer prevention efforts.
