King attends PSD exercise in Ajloun

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Monday attended a Public Security Directorate (PSD) tactical exercise conducted by the Civil Defence Department, in Ishtafina in Ajloun.
King Abdullah was briefed on the scenarios of the exercise, in the presence of PSD Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, according to a Royal Court statement.
The exercise, implemented with support from the Royal Jordanian Air Force and other police formations, simulated dealing with several concurrent forest fires over wide and hilly areas, as well as detaining arsonists.
The exercise incorporated scenarios of firefighting, emergency rescue, and evacuation, featuring recently introduced equipment and machinery.
His Majesty commended the advanced skills and capabilities of PSD personnel, praising the professionalism displayed in the exercise.
