King congratulates teachers on World Teachers’ Day

AMMAN -- On the occasion of the World Teachers' Day, His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday congratulated teachers on the occasion and hailed their role in the society.
His Majesty said qualified and dedicated teachers represent the cornerstone for empowered and productive society, according to a tweet on his official Twitter account.
Enhancing teachers’ status means supporting the society as a whole, the King wrote.
