King greets new Indian president

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable to new Indian President Ram Nath Kovind congratulating him on taking the presidential oath, according to a Royal Court statement.

The King expressed keenness to enhance bilateral ties in all areas of interest to both peoples and countries. He also wished the Indian president success in his duties and the people of India further progress and prosperity.
