King, Iraqi PM discuss region

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al Abadi discussed, in a phone call on Tuesday, the latest developments in the region, and bilateral relations and ways to further develop them.
Jordan has called for supporting Iraq’s anti-terrorism drive, while urging Baghdad to embark on an inclusive national reconciliation process to ensure that all components of the Iraq people are engaged in building the future of the country.
In a related development, Iraq’s Defence Minister Khalid Obeidi arrived in Amman for a two-day visit to hold talks with senior officials and military commanders, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
