Kingdom’s new ambassador to Greece presents credentials

ATHENS — Fawaz Aitan on Thursday presented his credentials to Greek President Karolos Papoulias as Jordan’s ambassador to Greece.

Aitan conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to Papoulias and his best wishes to the Greek people, and highlighted the King’s interest in boosting bilateral relations in political, economic, commercial and tourist spheres.

Also on Thursday, Foreign Ministry Secretary General Mohammad Bani Yassin received the credentials of Brunei’s newly appointed ambassador to Jordan, Nooradin Bin Haji Yaakob.
