AMMAN — Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham-Jordan) Mohammad Bataineh on Saturday said that His Majesty King Abdullah’s visit to Washington, as the first Arab leader to meet with US President Joe Biden, indicates the “importance and depth of the relations” between the two countries.
The King's interest in meeting a number of US investors and businesspeople will contribute to attracting direct US investments, building fruitful partnerships for both parties and providing jobs, Bataineh said as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
He said that His Majesty's visit to the US will accelerate the recovery of Jordanian companies from the impact of the pandemic. The US support will modernise the business environment and directly strengthen the local economic cycle, he added.
