AMMAN — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) on Tuesday distributed 500 caravans to Syrian refugees at the Zaatari camp. The new caravans replaced old ones that no longer can be used to serve newlyweds at the camp.  Mafraq Governor Salman Najada said that the Zaatari camp is the biggest in Jordan that received Syrian refugees since the outset of the crisis in Syria in 2011, noting that the camp houses some 80,000 to 90,000 refugees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. KSrelief Branch Director in Jordan Nayef Shammari said that the new caravans are part of several projects in the food security, shelter, rehabilitation and health sectors, which are funded by the centre to help Jordan bear the ramifications of hosting Syrian refugees.
