Legal Affairs minister, Swedish ambassador discuss modernisation project

AMMAN — The Minister of State for Legal Affairs Nancy Namrouqa met with Sweden's Ambassador to Jordan Alexandra Rydmark on Wednesday. 

During the meeting, Namrouqa reviewed the government's comprehensive modernisation project aimed at developing the political, economic and public administration sectors. 

Namrouqa outlined the programmes associated with these reforms, which are aimed at promoting women and youth engagement in political activity, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. 

The Swedish ambassador commended Jordan's efforts on the comprehensive modernisation project and reaffirmed Sweden's readiness to strengthen bilateral relations across various domains, serving the common interests of both nations.
