Luweibdeh building collapse death toll reaches 10 — PSD

AMMAN — Search and rescue teams have retrieved a 10th body from the rubble of the collapsed building in the Jabal Luweibdeh neighbourhood of Amman, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced on Thursday afternoon.
The number of injured remains at 10, according to a PSD statement, which added that search and rescue teams are continuing rescue operations.
The four-storey building collapsed on Tuesday afternoon. The collapsed building is around 50 years old, according to a Greater Amman Municipality official.
Three people have been detained at a correctional and rehabilitation centre by the order of the Amman Prosecutor General pending further investigation into the building collapse case.
