Majali, French ambassador discuss security cooperation

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali and French Ambassador Caroline Dumas on Monday discussed means to boost cooperation in the security, political and economic sectors.
Majali and the French diplomat also discussed the latest regional developments and their repercussions on the Arab and the international arenas.
The minister stressed the need to build on the “strong Jordanian-French relations”, highlighting the economic difficulties Jordan is grappling with as a result of current conditions in neighbouring countries.
For her part, Dumas expressed her country’s support and continued assistance for Jordan.
