Makruma scholarship offices opened at HTU headquarters

AMMAN — Director of the military’s education department Brig. Gen. Ali Al Dajja accompanied by Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) President Ismael Al Hinti on Wednesday attended the opening of the offices of makruma (Royal benefaction) scholarship at the university’s headquarters in the King Hussein Business Park (KHBP).

Hinti lauded the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army’s and the education department’s efforts to give Jordanians access to technical education and connect them with the industrial and business sectors. 

The JAF and the HTU, earlier the year, signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed to award scholarships in bachelor’s degrees in the university, a Crown Prince Foundation‏ initiative, in engineering and the IT fields.
