Maqasid Charity Hospital, UNHCR sign cooperation agreement

AMMAN — Al Maqasid Charity Hospital, affiliated with the Jordanian Zakat Fund, and the UN High Commissioner Refugee Agency’s (UNHCR) International Medical Corps (IMC) on Sunday signed a cooperation agreement aimed to provide medical services for the Syrian refugees in Jordan.
The one-year agreement is subject to renewal upon mutual consent of the parties. As per the agreement, Syrian refugees will receive healthcare services in accordance with the 2008 pricing of the Ministry of Health and the Jordanian Doctors Association.
The agreement was signed by Ali Bani Nasser, the hospital’s director, and Yahya Bawaneh, representative from the IMC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
