Masarweh, Japanese ambassador discuss environmental issues

AMMAN — Environment Minister Nabil Masarweh on Tuesday met Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Shimazaki Kaoru. During the meeting, talks went over common environmental issues, notably climate change.
The Japanese envoy was briefed on the ministry’s latest measures in this area, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The two sides emphasised the need to scale up coordination and cooperation in all environment areas with the aim to achieve sustainability.
