AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi strongly stand against the Israeli manoeuvres to displace the Palestinians, whether in Gaza or the West Bank, said the Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin on Tuesday.

Speaking to the Egyptian Middle East News Agency, Mubaidin reminded that Jordan and Egypt, since the first day of the Israeli war on Gaza, emphasised multiple positions, including the rejection of the Palestinian displacement, the need for an immediate ceasefire, the delivery of aid in Gaza, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The minister also commended the Amman-Cairo relations in all fields, stressing that the two leaderships' directives always call for enhancing cooperation and consultations, especially during the current Israeli war on Gaza.

Mubaidin pointed out that Jordan and Egypt had warned of violence before October 7, due to the Israeli occupation's practices and recurrent violations against Palestinians and their Islamic and Christian holy sites.

The minister also highlighted that the government is ready to present evidence at the International Court of Justice to support the case that was filed against Israel by South Africa.

The minister stressed that the economic situation remains the biggest challenge for Jordan, especially with the war on Gaza, referring to some government procedures to face possible inflation as a result of the prevailing conditions.
