By JT - Sep 06,2016 - Last updated at Sep 06,2016

AMMAN — The National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) is conducting research on the status of children in Jordan in 2016 for a joint report with UNICEF, the council said on Monday. The report will be a database to help create policies concerning children in different sectors, the NCFA said in a statement.

The council and UNICEF agreed to develop the report after a meeting between NCFA Secretary General Fadel Hmoud and UNICEF Representative to Jordan Robert Jenkins in Amman, the council said, adding that a new report would be issued every three years.
