AMMAN — The Water Ministry has signed several agreements to install sewage networks in Karak, Balqa and Amman financed by the Gulf Cooperation Council grant, Water Minister Hazem Nasser said on Tuesday.

The agreements cover the maintenance project for the Karak springs financed by the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development.

The agreements also cover establishing test basins at the Salt purification station in Balqa, and installing links to sanitation networks in Amman financed by the Saudi Fund for Development.

Nasser said these projects aim to develop the networks’ efficiency.
