AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Sunday met with the Lower House Modernity and Development Bloc, led by Mazen Qadi, and discussed the government’s priorities and underway public policies.
During the meeting, attended by the Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Musa Maaytah, the prime minister listened to the bloc’s suggestions, as Qadi stressed the importance of dialogue and engagement between the executive and legislative authorities on the various challenges facing the country.
He also reaffirmed the bloc’s belief in the freedom of opinion and expression within the legal and constitutional frameworks of the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Razzaz said that the government is striving to bridge the confidence gap between citizen and government, pointing out that the government’s priority for the next two years includes measurable criteria for policy and project implementation within specific timelines. Reforms should proceed in a balanced and parallel manner, he added.
