PM, Saudi envoy discuss ‘deep-rooted’ ties

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Monday met newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Bin Bandar Al Sudairi. During the meeting, attended by Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Sami Daoud, the two sides went over developments in the Jordanian-Saudi ties in various fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The premier stressed the “deep-rooted” bilateral relations, expressing keenness on advancing cooperation and coordination in all fields for the best interest of the two countries.
Razzaz also voiced the Kingdom’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s invitation to Jordan to take part in the upcoming Saudi-hosted G-20 summit.
The Saudi envoy lauded “friendly” Amman-Riyadh ties, highlighting the directives of his country’s leadership on giving attention to relations with Jordan. He added that inviting Jordan to take part in the “historic” summit confirms the importance attached to mutual ties.
