Police chief conveys King’s eid greetings to PSD personnel

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Wednesday conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to all PSD personnel and his best wishes to them on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

During a meeting attended by senior PSD officers, Maaytah stressed the importance for continuing work and coordination among various units, extending his appreciation to PSD personnel for their efforts during Ramadan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The meeting aimed to follow up on the implementation of the directorate's security, traffic and community plans on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr and during the last days of Ramadan.

He also stressed the need to provide citizens with the best security service, and to ensure their safety during the eid days in an optimal manner that reflects the societal relationship between security officers and citizens.
