President of Belarus receives newly appointed Jordanian ambassador

AMMAN — Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on Tuesday received the credentials of Amjad Adaileh, who was appointed as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Jordan to Belarus, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the ceremony held at the presidential palace in Minsk, Lukashenko confirmed his country’s keenness to develop bilateral relations with Jordan, particularly in the economic, trade and cultural fields.
He noted that Belarus is looking forward to discussing with all partners on a basis of political equality and mutual economic benefit “away from pressures, double standards and interference in the affairs of sovereign states”.
Adaileh conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the president, and affirmed his Majesty’s keenness on enhancing ties with Belarus in various domains.
