AMMAN — The Prince of Wales will pay a visit to the Kingdom on February 7-8 for talks with senior officials, according to a statement issued by Clarence House, and sent to The Jordan Times on Thursday by the British embassy in Amman.
The statement said Jordan will be the first leg in the prince’s regional tour that will also take him to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
“The Prince of Wales’ return to the region, only one year after his last tour, demonstrates the importance Her Majesty’s government places on its association with key partners in the area,” the statement said.
Prince Charles previously visited the Kingdom in 1993, 2004 and 2013.
