Prince Feisal elected to International Olympic Committee Executive Board

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal on Wednesday was elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Executive Board during the IOC’s 134th session held in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The prince expressed his pride in being elected as a member of the IOC’s Executive board to serve the Olympics on an international level. “I have spared no effort in cultivating Olympic values among athletes in the region and the world since the beginning of my journey as the president of the Jordan Olympic Committee ([JOC] in 2003,” Prince Feisal said.
“I will continue working towards enhancing the concept of the Olympic movement, using my experience as JOC president, as a member of the International Automobile Federation and as founder of Generations for Peace, to help the IOC spread Olympic values around the world,” the prince added.
