Prince Feisal wishes Jordan’s Paralympic team success

AMMAN — Secretary General of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) Nasser Majali on Monday conveyed the greetings of HRH Prince Feisal, president of the JOC, to the players participating in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In a phone call with Secretary General of the Jordan Paralympic Committee and head of the Paralympic team Maha Barghouti, Majali conveyed the prince’s greetings. Barghouti praised the support and interest of the JOC, led by the prince.

She pointed out that the prince’s interest constitutes a great encouragement for the Jordanian team. The Jordanian flag will be raised at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the 16th Paralympic Games. 

The Games will continue until September 5 with the participation Paralympians from 180 countries. The Jordanian team, consisting of 10 members, will take part in the opening ceremony.
