Prince Hassan meets auxiliary bishop of Mechelen-Brussel

AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, chairman of the Royal Institute for the Inter-Faith Studies’ board of trustees, on Sunday met Bishop Jean Kockerlos, auxiliary bishop of Mechelen-Brussel and an accompanying delegation.

The prince highlighted the outcomes of the third Islamic-Christian Summit, which was recently held in Rome, calling for citizenship to be identified on a non-discriminatory basis.

He stressed the significant role Christians play in Arab countries, calling for more efforts to encourage them to remain in the region.
