Prince Mired meets ministers of higher education, institutional development

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), has virtually met with Higher Education Minister Mohammad Khair Abu Qudais over moves that the council would directly implement with higher education institutions, such as accessibility of people with disabilities.
The meeting addressed the possibility of starting partnerships with universities to make their facilities suit people with disabilities and including sign language interpreters gradually into universities, according to an HCD statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Saturday.
Prince Mired also held a virtual meeting with Minister of State for Institutional Development Raba'ah Ajarmeh over means to support the council, enhance its performance and provide it with specialised technical expertise.
