AMMAN — The Higher Education Council on Tuesday authorised presidents of public universities to admit students who passed the General Secondary Certificate Examination in previous years and did not register in any specialisation on both regular and parallel programmes.
The decision will be applied according to available seats in open specialisations in the winter semester, and in line with the minimum scores for the 2014-15 academic year, a Higher Education Ministry statement said.
The decision applies to Al Hussein Bin Talal University, Tafileh Technical University, the University of Jordan’s Aqaba branch and Al Balqa Applied University.
