Rawabdeh receives ACC report

AMMAN — Senate President Abdur-Ra’uf S. Rawabdeh on Monday received a copy of the Anti-Corruption Commission’s (ACC) annual report for 2013.
During a meeting with ACC President Samih Bino, Rawabdeh commended the ACC’s role in combating corruption, stressing the Senate’s commitment to cooperating with the commission.
According to the report, the commission dealt with 1,808 complaints in 2013, of which the ACC probed 230 cases.
Through its work on these cases, the commission managed to return more than JD25 million to the Treasury.
