Razzaz instructs ‘swift’ solution to Jerash slaughterhouse

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Saturday instructed concerned agencies with providing “swift” solutions to the problem of the Jerash slaughterhouse.

As per the instructions, a specialised team will have to present its recommendations in five days, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The premier’s instructions came following a number of reports from residents who complained about the presence of health hazards due to the current status of the slaughterhouse, which is located near residential neighbourhoods. A number of Jerash administrators will be part of the team including the mayor and governor.
