Razzaz, US representative meet over ties

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Saturday discussed mutual relations between Jordan and the US with the US Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen who chairs the minor committee for the Middle East and North Africa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, attended by Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Musa Maaytah, Razzaz highlighted the strategic ties between Jordan and the US.

He also voiced his appreciation for the United States’ support to Jordan, noting that it contributes to the government’s efforts in dealing with economic challenges.

During the meeting, US Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen added that Jordan is an important US partner in the Middle East.
