AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein, the Regent, on Wednesday attended Al Ahli Club ceremony marking its 80th anniversary.
Al Ahli Club President Awni Naghway highlighted the club’s achievements in promoting productive teamwork, as well as encouraging leadership, building the capacities of young people, safeguarding values, and raising awareness, according to a Royal Court statement.
Crown Prince Hussein honoured a number of the club’s members for their contributions to serving the local community in various fields.
During a tour of the club, the Crown Prince was briefed on its social, cultural and athletic contributions, as well as its committees aimed at supporting the local community through voluntary charitable campaigns, such as the “Garage Sale” initiative to cover education costs for underprivileged students, the statement said.
