AMMAN — The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) and the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) have recently signed a grant agreement to support the expansion of the Healthy Community Clinic programme, according to a WDF statement.

The signing took place during the International Conference on Refugees & Diabetes, held at the Dead Sea. The grant will help support the expansion of the HCC programme to 15 new Healthy Community Clinics across the country, which are integrated with the Ministry of Health’s primary healthcare centres.

The new clinics will benefit 75,000 people directly and indirectly over a period of three years. RHAS Director General Hanin Odeh expressed her gratitude to WDF, saying: “This sets yet another great example of what the synergy and collaboration between two health-focused organisations can do.”
