RMS delegation takes part in int’l committee of military medicine meeting

AMMAN — Royal Medical Services (RMS) Director General Maj. Gen. Muin Habashneh on Thursday outlined the prominent role of Jordan and the RMS in the field of military medicine, at the General Assembly of the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The assembly is held on the sidelines of the 42nd ICMM conference in New Delhi.

In his speech, Habashneh said that, in the past years RMS has gained extensive expertise in military medicine, especially through its participation in peacekeeping missions, where it provided medical, therapeutic and humanitarian care in more than 30 countries which have been subjected to conflicts, wars and natural disasters.
