AMMAN — Upon the directive of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) has dispatched an emergency relief airplane to Pakistan in response to the flooding that resulted in significant damage to the country.

In coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF)/Air Force, the JHCO prepared and loaded the plane with relief and food supplies and made arrangements with the Pakistani authorities to receive the assistance.

JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shalabi said that the assistance matches the current needs of Pakistan. Shalabi highlighted the coordination between the Foreign Ministry via the Kingdom's embassy in Pakistan, and the JAF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
