School clean-up campaign kicks off

AMMAN — As part of a nationwide clean-up drive, the Ministry of Education on Saturday launched a campaign to spruce up the Kingdom's public schools. The campaign aims at encouraging community engagement, especially for school and university students as well as national institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the opening ceremony, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Walid Maani highlighted the role of this campaign in equipping students with creative-thinking skills and creating a culture of volunteerism.
Donations can be made through the Crown Prince Foundation initiative Naua's platform www.naua.org/madarisna while youth can register to volunteer through the National Youth Engagement and Volunteering Movement website, www.nahno.org .
