Senate president meets with US, Czech ambassadors

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday met separately with US Ambassador Yael Lempert and Czech Ambassador Alexander Sporys to discuss boosting relations with their respective countries and the region's latest developments.

In his meeting with Lempert, Fayez highlighted the importance of the strategic relations between the Kingdom and the US, stressing the need to enhance these ties, particularly in the economic and investment sectors, to benefit both sides, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The meeting also discussed the need to enhance efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region.

Lempert confirmed her country's keenness to enhance relations with Jordan and expand the strategic partnership in various fields. Fayez’s meeting with Sporys covered Jordanian-Czech ties, regional developments and the importance of exerting more efforts to resolve political and security crises.
