Senior officials discuss facilitating services for pharmaceutical sector

AMMAN – Public Sector Development Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh and Health Minister Ali Hiasat on Wednesday discussed ways to improve services offered to the pharmaceutical sector.
According to a statement issued by the Public Sector Development Ministry, the meeting, attended by Jordan Food and Drug Administration Director General Hayel Obeidat, was held to follow up on His Majesty King Abdullah’s recent directives to facilitate government procedures for key economic sectors.

Public Sector Development Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh and Health Minister Ali Hiasat set mid-April as a deadline for the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) to make “tangible” progress in the quality of services offered to the pharmaceutical sector.
Health Minister Ali Hiasat on Monday said the health sector needs an integrated vision to build on achievements.
Minister of Public Sector Development Khleef Al Khawaldeh on Monday said the ministry has prepared guidelines for services offered by the ministries of health and education, the Department of Lands and Survey and the National Aid Fund.
