Sergeant wounded by bullet at Jordan Field Hospital Special/2 in Khan Yunis

AMMAN — Member of the Jordan Field Hospital Special/2 in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, Sergeant Sharif Ayasrah was wounded by an unknown bullet in his right thigh while carrying out humanitarian duties at the hospital, the spokesperson of The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) announced on Monday.
The wounded sergeant received the necessary medical care, the spokesperson said, adding that a procedure to remove the bullet and check arteries and nerves is planned, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The spokesperson affirmed that the general condition of the sergeant was reported as stable. There was no damage to the hospital and all staff is in good health, the spokesperson added, stressing that medical teams in the Gaza Strip continue to provide medical services, fulfilling their humanitarian duty to the people of Gaza.
